Shalom Aleichem!

Welcome to Meyah’s Manna, where I divide and share with you the Word of God. I call this provision “Our Daily Bread”, sometimes referring to it as “manna”. Let’s break bread and be nourished as we journey through life together.

During their journey to the Promised Land, the Israelites ran out of food. God then provided them with manna, often described as a light, sweet, bread-like substance from heaven, which was a daily source of food for His people. Along with the manna, He gave specific instructions so that His people could steward and continue partaking in the provision. When the Israelites failed to obey God’s instructions for properly handling and preserving the manna, it no longer served them. This speaks to the importance of never forsaking God’s Word. A beautiful scriptural reference is Matthew 4:4 New International Version (NIV), which reads, “Jesus answered: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.'” Meyah’s Manna was created to teach God’s children how to properly steward the Word of God, obeying its instructions in times of need and in times of plenty.

Exodus 16:4 (NIV) reads, “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions.'”
